He’s played cocaine magnate George Jung, musical serial killer Sweeney Todd, gangsters John Dillinger and Whitey Bulger… even the Big Bad Wolf! Now superstar Johnny Depp has finally found a nefarious character he can really sink his acting chops into: Donald J. Trump.
That’s right, the actor who was just yesterday announced to headline Universal’s Invisible Man has slapped on a funny nose/toupée combo to play the most visible man in America right now. Donald Trump’s The Art Of The Deal: The Movie from Funny or Die is a 50-minute-long epic (Depp shot his part in only four days!) chronicling Trump’s story as told in faux mid-eighties VHS infomercial style. Depp’s Trump faces opposition from Merv Griffin (Patton Oswalt), Mayor Ed Koch (Henry Winkler), Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), Jews, blacks and the homeless in finally achieving his dream of owning the Taj Mahal casino. Throw in a music video with The Fat Boys, a theme song by Kenny Loggins and a requisite Alf cameo and you have yourself one dynamic movie about a very, very dynamic individual.
