Last night, Hollywood’s biggest stars lined up to have fun, raise money and change lives for “Red Nose Day,” a three-hour live entertainment event on NBC. Featuring comedy, videos produced by Funny or Die, musical performances, and short appeals films that shed light on those in need, the benefit event helped 12 charity organizations lift children and young people out of poverty, in the U.S. and throughout the world.
Below you’ll find highlights from the broadcast, including skits featuring the likes of Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Jennifer Aniston, Zac Efron, Kermit the Frog, Jay Pharaoh doing a classic Kevin Hart impression, and the entire cast of “Game of Thrones” performing a musical by Chris Martin of Coldplay.
Richard Curtis was executive producer for the NBC telecast (a Universal Television production), along with Hamish Hamilton and Ian Stewart of Done + Dusted Productions. Henrietta Conrad and Lily Sobhani served as executive producers, as did Mike Farah, Anna Wenger and Joe Farrell from Funny or Die. For more information, please go to RedNoseDayUSA.com.
