The Hollywood Reporter says DreamWorks Home Entertainment’s The Ring Two debuted at No. 2 on VideoScan’s First Alert sales chart, while Buena Vista Home Entertainment’s Sin City retained the top spot for the second consecutive week.
The Ring Two also bowed at No. 2 on Home Media Retailing’s rental chart for the week ending August 28, trounced by another new release, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Beauty Shop, which grossed less than half as much at the boxoffice, $36.3 million compared with $75.9 million for The Ring Two.
