The upcoming film based on the Teasing Master Takagi-san manga and anime has received a new trailer, highlighting the journey that Takagi and Nishikata will go on with a new pet.

The trailer picks up during the last year of middle school for our main characters, as Takagi and Nishikata find a stray kitten one day. After naming the kitten Hana, they then decide to take care of the animal until they can reunite it with its mother.

The Teasing Master Takagi-san film is set to premiere in Japan on June 10, 2022, and will see most of the main staff from the third season of the anime return for the film, including Hiroaki Akagi, who is set to return as director.
“Takagi is a master of clever antics that turn her frequent target, Nishikata, into a blushingly embarrassed wreck,” reads the synopsis of the series. “But Nishikata hasn’t endured years of pranks from his childhood friend for nothing. Every day and every battle of wits with Takagi brings him one step closer to turning the tables and making her blush, and now Nishikata is lying in wait for the perfect opportunity to win adorable, glorious revenge.”

Teasing Master Takagi-san is produced by Shin-Ei Animation, and directed by Hiroaki Akaghi, with scriptwriting from Hiroko Fukuda and Kanichi Katou. The series stars Rie Takahashi (KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!) as Takagi, Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan) as Nishikata, Konomi Kohara (The Demon Girl Next Door, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Mina and Yuma Uchida (Given, Fruits Basket: The Final) as Nakai.
