Delicious in Dungeon episode 18 recap
The episode starts with Laois and his party finding traces of Falin. As they followed the trail, they descend further into the dungeon, eventually reaching the sixth floor. Upon arriving, they are surprised by the harsh weather on the sixth floor and make their way to enter a prison area.
However, as they venture further, they discover several copies of them following the group. Laois tells them that they are shapeshifters, as he has seen them numerous times in his village. He also informs them that if they aren’t taken care of, they will replace the original.
Laois easily identifies his doppelgangers because of their creepy appearances and locks them away. He tells them to start cooking, as it will help fish them out. They listen despite being skeptical of Laois’ deductive skills. He asks them various questions to try and weed out the fakes, but the task proves more difficult than he thought. However, he sorts them out after making some deductions.
Laois then finds the shapeshifter’s actual body and destroys it with Marcille’s help. While Senshi prepares the food, he notices their rations are being stolen. The episode ends by revealing Asebi to be the thief as she takes Marcille hostage.
