Re:Monster episode 2 recap
Re:Monster episode 2, titled “Re:D Bear,” continues with Gobrou’s adventures as the goblin leader. The episode begins with Gobrou and Gobjii discovering that the captivated human women had ingested poison and died. They secretly burn their bodies and mourn their deaths.
As Gobrou continues to train the goblins, some elder goblins raid the village. They bring human women as replacements for the women who have died. However, much to the elder goblins’ frustration, Gobrou challenges their leader to stop the torture the human women have to go through.
Following a duel, it is established that Gobrou is the village leader as he defeats the leader. Later, as some goblins try to harm the women, Gobrou steps in to beat them to near death as a warning sign for the goblins to never defy his orders. He reassures the women and goes to the northern side of the forest the following day.
In the forest, he encounters a red bear. After an intense showdown, he defeats the beast and eats its meat, following which the protagonist evolves into an ogre and unlocks new abilities, shocking everyone in the village.
