A massive fan account of the series on X shared an image that can be seen below. The illustrations feature the protagonist, Deku, standing alone while wearing the scarf Gran Torino gave him. This instigated debates among fans as they were dubious about whether to trust these leaks. However, Weekly Shonen Jump’s Issue 2 of 2024, released on Monday, December 11, validated the news and the official My Hero Academia X account.
There have been a few updates regarding My Hero Academia Season 7 since Studio Bones confirmed the project in March 2023. Fans were graced with a new promo release in October featuring Deku, Katsuki, Ochako, and several other major players in the current saga.
Studio Bones has also announced the production of a fourth film for the franchise along with Season 7. Even the Mangaka of the series, Kohei Horikoshi, was greatly thrilled by this news. He knew the studio intended to make any other films of his series.
“I was really surprised when they told me there would be a new movie,” he explained. “I couldn’t help but think back to my childhood when a new Dragon Ball movie was being released every year.” Studio Bones has not yet set a release window for the upcoming film.
