Team Z is in trouble after Kuon switches sides. Now that it’s a 12 vs. 10 game, Team Z is outnumbered. The ball ends up with Chigiri, but the opposing team steals the ball immediately. The others tell Chigiri to get a grip. In high school, Chigiri’s speed was his special weapon. He was teammates with the Wanima brothers as well. Their coach favored Chigiri, and he was often called a genius. However, after his injury, things weren’t the same anymore. The Wanima brothers would make fun of him and Chigiri was no longer the genius he used to be.
Chigiri was ready to give up on his soccer career, but Isagi screams at Chigiri to move. The rest of the team is feeling the pressure as time begins to run out. Chigiri sees Isagi’s determination to win, and he remembers his past self. Chigiri finally breaks free of his fear and begins sprinting. Isagi smells a goal and passes the ball to Chigiri. The opposing team can’t catch up to Chigiri’s speed. He scores a goal just in time before the game ends. The game ends with a draw, giving Team Z another chance in Blue Lock. In the cafeteria, the team overhears Kuon trying to sell their information again to their next opponent. The team members refuse Kuon’s offer, and they finally meet their opponents for the next game.
