One Piece Episode 1023 Recap
Chopper’s antidote proves to be effective after he tests it on himself. Miyagi and Tristan celebrate, and the three of them start preparing the medicine for everyone. Elsewhere, Marco continues fighting against King and Queen. As for Apoo, he is surprised to see that Hyogoro knocked out a lot of subordinates. Meanwhile, Yatappe struggles to strike down his blade on Hyogoro. The samurai share a tearful moment, crying over Hyogoro. Queen’s men start questioning why they need to be affected by the virus too. Queen responds by saying they are easily expendable, so they might as well die if required.
Just in time, Chopper stops Yatappe from chopping off Hyogoro’s head. Chopper gives Hyogoro the antidote, and he returns to normal. As for the others, Chopper uses a cannon to administer the medicine to the affected ones. Everyone is healed, much to Queen’s dismay. Queen confronts Chopper about it, annoyed with Chopper’s interference with the Ice Oni virus. Chopper is angry at Queen’s carelessness. He says Queen shouldn’t be casually using viruses as a weapon.
Meanwhile, on the rooftop, the battle continues. In one of the castle’s rooms, Kinemon wakes up. He sees Kiku and the rest of the Akazaya Nine, whose wounds have been bandaged. Kawamatsu tries to remember who performed first aid on them but fails. Kinemon tells everyone that the battle is still ongoing and they should help out. As they were about to leave the room, Oden appeared and greeted the group.
