Ruler’s hand is a powerful ability in the Solo Leveling Manhwa series that finally got its anime Adaptation earlier this year. The user of this ability can physically manipulate objects without touching them. It is a lesser version of the ability Ruler’s Authority, which the main character, Sung Jinwoo, acquired by defeating Blood-Red Knight Commander Igris.
Ruler’s Authority is a form of telekinesis exclusively for the Rulers of the Solo Leveling universe and the humans to whom Rulers choose to confer their power. If used at its full strength, its potential can be as much as a black hole. The true power of this skill is shown in Manhwa, in which the fans are impatiently waiting for it to be adapted into anime in the future.
Solo Leveling: What Happened in Episode 11 of Solo Leveling?
Solo Leveling Episode 11 begins with the protagonist, Jinwoo, starting the job change quest that popped up in his system in the previous episode. The quest was stated as difficult and of a higher level, but he accepted it anyway.
Later in that episode, the protagonist encounters Blood-Red Knight Commander Igris. Their collision is grand, and the excitement makes the viewer hold their breath. Although Igris is overpowering Jinwoo in every aspect, he still makes an amazing comeback and defeats the Blood-Red Knight Commander.
Jinwoo received four rewards for his victory, one of them being a rune stone containing the Ruler’s Hand Skill. The practical use of the Ruler’s hand is shown during the fight between the Protagonist and Igris. Igris was seen using this skill on his sword. Using this ability, one can physically manipulate any object without touching it. But the battle with Igris wasn’t the end of the quest. Soon, the protagonist was facing countless enemies and was told to survive as long as possible by the system.
In the next episode, he somehow managed to survive by luck, as the daily quest penalty started before he got beaten. Later, Jinwoo obtained the Ruler’s Hand skill using the rune stone. The practical use of the skill is shown later in that episode when he comes back to the job change quest to get revenge.
Solo Leveling: What is the Ruler’s Hand skill?
This fantastic skill doesn’t require much mana, which can lead to excellent tactical strategies, which are later shown in the Manhwa. Since it is a lesser version of the skill Ruler’s Authority, it is possible to evolve it through enough training. Jinwoo’s skill evolved into the Ruler’s Authority during his battle with Kandiaru’s Statues in the Cartenon Temple. This fight scene will yet to be animated.
Ruler’s Hand does not contain as many features as its evolved form. Although both are telekinesis-based, Ruler’s Authority can be applied over a large radius. However, no matter how versatile this skill might be, it has no effect in battle against superior opponents.
The fans are waiting for the new season of Solo Leveling to come, which displays the power and versatility of this overpowered skill.
