Fear The Walking Dead releases clips for next week’s episode
AMC’s companion series to The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, has released a trailer for next week’s episode, along with a first-look clip. While the trailer is the usual walking through the woods and fighting zombies (and fellow survivors), the clip, titled “Morgan Heading West” gives a callback to The Walking Dead’s very first episode.
As Morgan (Lennie James) tells his approximate location to a walkie-talkie, he explains that he’ll “leave this channel open,” in hopes that someone will be listening, explaining that someone once did the same for him. That someone, of course, is Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who relayed what he was doing into a walkie-talkie for Morgan all the way through the show’s first season. You can check out both clips below.

In the back half of the season, the survivors in Fear The Walking Dead will explore who they are now — as individuals and as part of the greater group — and how they will forge ahead. They will find themselves pitted against new adversaries — human, walker, and even nature itself. Theirs will be a journey wrought with danger, love, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, hope.
Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Ann Hurd and Greg Nicotero, and produced by AMC Studios. The series stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garrett Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, and Jenna Elfman.
