With less than a month to go before Sony Pictures and MGM debut the 23rd James Bond adventure, Skyfall, in theaters, a mysterious viral website has popped up at the IP address 50.112.251.215 (via Reddit and FirstShowing.net). After speaking aloud the secret password (find a hint at the bottom of this page), fans are given access to a top-secret MI6 database that tests players’ readiness to receive a license to kill.
In Skyfall, Bonds loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Tonia Sotiropoulou star in the Sam Mendes-directed film.
Skyfall, opens overseas on October 26th, in domestic IMAX theaters on November 8th and conventional theaters on November 9th.
