Warner Bros. has revealed the first TV spot for the upcoming Trouble with the Curve, starring Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, Matthew Lillard, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman. Check it out in the player below!
From screenwriter Randy Brown and director Robert Lorenz, Trouble with the Curve features Eastwood as a baseball scout who is losing his vision with his age just as he and his daughter (Adams) take a final road trip to Atlanta to check out a prospective talent.
Director Lorenz has been working with Eastwood as an assistant director as far back as The Bridges of Madison County. This project marks his full directing debut and Eastwood’s first time in front of the cameras since 2008’s Gran Torino.
Trouble with the Curve is planned for a September 21st release.
