Dax Shepard has been cast in the upcoming Fox pilot Bless This Mess
Dax Shepard (Parenthood) has been cast in the upcoming Fox pilot Bless This Mess, according to Variety. He’s also set to executive produce the show. Bless This Mess comes to us from New Girl creator Liz Meriwether and Lake Bell, who will write and executive produce. Bell will also star and direct. Katherine Pope will executive produce as well with 20th Century Fox Television.
Bless This Mess is a single camera comedy that is set to shoot in June. It’s the story about a newlywed couple who move to Nebraska to live a simple life after their lives in New York become too much. Shepard will play the husband Mike and Bell will play the wife, Rio.
Shepard is known for his work in the NBC series Parenthood where he played Crosby Braverman. He wrote, directed and starred in the film version of the TV series CHIPS. He’s also been seen in films like Without a Paddle, Idiocracy, Employee of the Month, Baby Mama and This Is Where I Leave You.
