“The Office” and The Hangover star Ed Helms has lined up two new film projects, Deadline reports. He’ll star in David Wain’s upcoming They Came Together opposite Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd and then cameo in Rawson Thurber’s We’re The Millers alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis.
They Came Together, written by Wain and Michael Showalter, is said to be be a parody of the romantic comedy genre. Rudd stars as Joel, a corporate businessman whose company is threatening to shut down the small store run by Poehler’s Molly. Helms will play a love interest to Molly named Eggbert.
We’re The Millers, meanwhile, tells the story of a team of criminals that pose as an average American family in order to smuggle marijuana across the country in an RV. Helms will play Brad, the boss of Sudeikis’ character.
Helms appeared earlier this year in The Lorax and Jeff, Who Lives at Home and is gearing up to shoot The Hangover Part III later this year.
