Following this morning’s photos from the set of director Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables comes video of the same sequence, featuring Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman singing “Do You Hear the People Sing?”. Check out their rendition and a better look at the elaborate set in the players below!
In turn based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel, the hit Broadway musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg opened in 1985, beginning one of the longest runs for a musical ever. Set against the backdrop of the 19th Century French rebellion, the musical has been adapted for the screen by William Nicholson and also stars Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit and Samantha Barks.
Les Miserables is set to hit theaters on December 14, 2012.
