Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Fruitvale Station) and director Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Spawn TV series, Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3) are attached to the upcoming film A Bittersweet Life, a remake of the 2005 Korean cult hit film, according to Deadline. Jordan will play a mobster who becomes conflicted after being ordered to kill his mistress. The filmmakers are reportedly looking at this as a “high concept, character driven” film with the possibility for a franchise. Lee Byung-hun starred in the original film. The Fox film will be produced by 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy, Dan Levine and Dan Cohen with CJ Entertainment. Jason Young will oversee for Fox.
