Paramount Pictures has revealed the Javier Bardem poster for writer and director Darren Aronofsky’s mother!. The artwork was created by artist James Jean, who also updated the Jennifer Lawrence artwork with new lettering. You can view both pieces of art in the gallery below, and stay tuned for the trailer on August 8.

mother! (which features both a lowercase “m” and an exclamation point as part of its official title) centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. It is rumored the film is loosely inspired by Rosemary’s Baby.
The impressive cast of mother! also includes Michelle Pfeiffer (What Lies Beneath, Dark Shadows), Ed Harris (Snowpiercer, A Beautiful Mind) and Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and his brother, Brian Gleeson (Snow White and the Huntsman, Assassin’s Creed).
Aronofsky is writing, directing and producing mother! through his own Protozoa Pictures along with Scott Franklin and Ari Handel. mother! is set to open on September 15.
