The Weinstein Company made some changes in its line-up today. First up, the studio set a September 21 release date for writer/director Andrew Dominick’s adaptation Cogan’s Trade, starring Brad Pitt. The other movies opening on that date are Dredd and House at the End of the Street.
The Weinsteins have also pushed back Scary Movie 5 from an April 20 release to January 11, 2013, where it will face Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
The long-delayed Butter will be delayed ever longer as the studio has pushed backed the comedy from March 16 to October 5, a date also occupied by Frankenweenie, Taken 2 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.
Also, the studio has pushed back Bully slightly from March 9 to March 30, and is now planning a May 25 release for French hit The Intouchables (“Intouchables” in France).
