Scream Queens star Billie Lourd has joined American Horror Story season 7
Scream Queens star Billie Lourd (the upcoming Billionaire Boys Club) has been cast in the seventh season of American Horror Story, according to Deadline. Lourd currently plays Chanel #3 on Scream Queens, which was created by AHS‘s Ryan Murphy. There are no details about her role, but she’ll be joining the newly-cast Billy Eichner (Difficult People) as well as some returning cast members.

Back in February, creator and producer Ryan Murphy revealed the theme during a guest spot on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He told Cohen,”Well, I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.” Cohen asked if there would “be, like a Trump in it,” Murphy responded, “Uh, maybe.” The first episode will reportedly take place on election night.
American Horror Story was renewed for two more seasons back in January. The series has a number of recurring actors between seasons and Sarah Paulson (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) and Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past) have already been confirmed to return.
Billie Lourd is also known for her role as Lt. Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She’ll be seen along with her mother, the late Carrie Fisher, in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
