ComingSoon.net has learned that Warner Brothers and the IMAX Corporation are planning to continue their successful relationship in 2012 with three more releases in the IMAX format that haven’t been announced yet. They include the action sequel Wrath of the Titans, Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Killer, and Alfonso Cuaron’s outer space thriller Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.
All three movies will also be released in 3D, although only the first and third have been planned this way from the get-go. Although none of this could be confirmed either by Warner Bros. or IMAX at this time, it was suggested that given the nature of the films and the relationship this is a likely scenario, and we can probably expect an official announcement soon.
Wrath of the Titans is scheduled to hit theaters on March 30, 2012, followed by Jack the Giant Killer on June 15, 2012 and Gravity on November 21, 2012.
