Extreme metal band Reaping Asmodeia premieres their extremely violent new video
If there is one thing you can always count on from Prosthetic Records, it’s face-melting metal and to start your year off right, they just dropped a nasty little treat to celebrate Friday, the 13th. The chaotically-precise sonic fury that is Minneapolis-spawned Reaping Asmodeia is back with a new single and video from their forthcoming effort, Impuratize. They teamed up with producer Zach Ohren (Fallujah, First Fragment) to mix and master the new album. The new track, “Of Talons and Teeth,” is as brutal as anything you’ve heard King Diamond‘s grandma play at her Sunday knitting socials.
The accompanying video is one big goregasm from start to finish. Directed and filmed by horror cinematographer Anthony Cousins, the clip takes us into a makeshift operating room where a mad-scientist type has his way with the band, featuring squirm-worthy images evocative of the Hostel films stained with a bit of Re-Animator and The Human Centipede for good measure.
According to the press release, due to the graphic content of the clip, the video was shunned by several media outlets, leading the band to host the premiere directly via YouTube. If you love your metal with a side of squishy nastiness, click the link below!
