Details are scarce regarding the plot of Woody Allen’s next project, but the cast has been revealed thanks to Variety. They report that Alec Baldwin, Penelope Cruz, Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page have all signed on.
Written and directed by Allen from an original script, the production will be shot in Rome this summer and, presumably, will see a release sometime in 2012. Allen, one of the most consistently productive directors of all time, tends to release a film a year. His next, Midnight in Paris, is scheduled for a limited release on May 20th.
