Clive Owen, Andrea Riseborough, Gillian Anderson and Aidan Gillen have joined James Marsh’ (tentatively titled) Shadow Dancer, Vulture reports.
Though announced late last year to star Guy Pearce and Rebecca Hall, Owen and Riseborough will now, instead, step into those leading roles in an adaptation of the novel by Tom Bradby.
Marsh, best known for his Oscar-winning documentary Man on Wire, has also supplied the screenplay for the novel adaptation, which tells the tale of a former female IRA terrorist turned informer.
Riseborough, best known for roles in Happy-Go-Lucky, Made in Dagenham and Never Let Me Go will play the lead opposite Owen (who next appears in The Killer Elite). Anderson is best known for her her long-running role on “The X-Files” and Gillen for his role on “The Wire.”
Shadow Dancer is expected to shoot in Dublin in May.
