In a new look at Eli Roths long-awaited cannibal film The Green Inferno, Richard Burgi warns of a world outside, chowing down much in the way the films cast eventually is. Have a look!
The Green Inferno, finally seeing release this September from Blumhouse, is quite a lot of fun. Roths nihilistic humor is in full effect, and on full display in this bit of cross-cutting. In the film, Lorenza Izzo and group of would-be activists head down to the Amazon in an effort to help the rainforests. As would happen in one of the filmmakers go-out-in-the-world scenarios, their small plane goes down and the students are captured by a tribe theyre ostensibly there to help.
The Green Inferno is out September 25th. Until then, take a cue from the clip and revisit Burgi in Roths Hostel: Part 2, which many seem to undervalue. Its terrific.
Heed this warning: Father knows best. #HappyFathersDay
