Mike Mendez, director of Big Ass Spider! and The Convent, will team with action icon Dolph Lundgren for Alaskan demon hunting tale, Don’t Kill It.
Written by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen (directors of current fest hit, the wicked indie Body), Don’t Kill It has Lundgrens demon hunter ‘team with a reluctant FBI agent to battle an ancient evil unleashed in a small Alaskan town, leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host.’ Is this Lundgren’s The Thing? Is this what you’ve always wanted and didn’t even know?
Variety reports the horror film will get into production this July. The Swedish actor recently took on zombies and robots in Battle of the Damned (above). He also appeared in the utterly insane, Gaspar Noe-influenced Universal Solder: Day of Reckoning.
