The first clip from Henry Hobson’s Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring zombir drama, Maggie has arrived in its quiet, tender fashion.
The word around Maggie as a zombie drama is that it’s just that, a largely quiet film about the relationship between a father and daughter as he tries to protect her during zombie transformation. That it stars the often larger-than-life Schwarzenegger in the role of the former is surely surprising to many, but both the trailer and clip read as adventurous and hopefully affecting in its subdued, unexpected nature.
Abigial Breslin co-stars in the film, which premieres tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival. Roadside Attractions releases Maggie in theaters and on demand, May 8th.
