Sherilyn Fenn Talks Twin Peaks, Answers Lingering Question

As the ensemble of Twin Peaks rallies to keep director David Lynch on the upcoming Showtime revival via canny video, one of the most beloved cast members also took to a Facebook Q&A on the Save Twin Peaks account. Yesterday, April 9th, Sherilyn Fenn, who plays Audrey Horne on the series, answered fan questions about Twin Peaks and the current controversy over David Lynch’s exit.  While Fenn was unable to get particularly detailed on it all—many of the answers amount to her and cast being hopeful for Lynch’s return upon his budgetary needs being met—she did answer a lingering mystery from Twin Peaks Season Two.

Fenn is currently set to return to the world of Twin Peaks for Season Three. Given the series’ otherworldly and surreal leanings, it was anyone’s guess as to how. Last we saw of Audrey in Season Two, she was caught in an explosion at the town’s bank, but with Mark Frost & Lynch, and especially the town of Twin Peaks, anything is possible. Upon being asked how Audrey will return, Fenn revealed, “Yes. Don’t know HOW she got out, cinema magic. But DKL assured me I was not gonna be dead…..he only kills poor Sheryl, again and again…9 lives.”

Whether we’ll see this alive Audrey is now up in the air, as Peaks co-creator Lynch famously exited the series earlier this week over budget negotiations. As mentioned above, the cast is currently rallying with fans to push Showtime to support Lynch and the series. You can see the video they’ve made, below.
