Joining the ranks of the few New Years Eve-set horror films like New Years Evil, Terror Train, Bloody New Year and End of Days is Minutes to Midnight, a new picture set to star genre fave Bill Moseley (pictured top in Dead Air), as well as William Baldwin, Richard Grieco and Dominique Swain.
Directed by Christopher Douglas-Olen Ray (son of prolific shlock master, Fred), Minutes to Midnight has a fairly scant synopsis: It will, chronicle what happens when a night of fun turns into a night of horror. IMDb fills out: On the cusp of New Year’s Eve, seven friends and a mysterious backpacker converge at a desolate ski lodge in the mountains when they are systematically hunted down by ruthless masked men with a cryptic agenda.
Ray most recently helmed the upcoming A House is Not a Home, as well as some of the Asylum Mega Shark titles. Ray produces with Gerald Webb under their Deinstitutionalized company. [The Wrap]
