It was last November that Shock was the first to introduce you to The Editor, a film that was being touted at the American Film Market. At the time, we had sales art (seen here) and a synopsis for you. Ahead of the film’s Toronto International Film Fest presence, a teaser trailer has been posted. It’s 40 seconds in length, but that’s more than enough time to give you the vibe of this film. It’s definitely giallo-esque.

The Editor is described as a tribute to the Italian giallo genre.
The film concerns film editor Rey Cisco (played by Adam Brooks), a man who works tirelessly and has four wooden fingers on his right hand. Stress plagues his life and things take a turn when the body count begins to rise at the studio he works for. As the description goes, “as this meta-movie build to a frenzied climax, you’re forced to question everything you’ve seen.”
