Resident Evil just won’t die. Not saying that is a bad thing, just an observation. The proof? You will soon be able to download it for your current game system! With all the talk of current “survival horror” titles like Outlast and Slender: The Arrival, it is time for Resident Evil to return and show how it kicked things off back in 1996.
Brought back by popular demand (yes there is hope out there, Resident Evil: Outbreak fans), the latest release of the classic title will feature significantly upgraded 1080p graphics, remastered 5.1 surround sound, and thankful, updated controls that allow you to play in its tradition control scheme or new current systems compatible controls (which are so much easier). Is this a primer for a new game announcement, one more horror than adventure/action? Time will tell.
Resident Evil will be available for digital download in 2015 on PS, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
