file_177135_0_existsThree new release dates to alert you to… First, Leprechaun: Origins is getting a theatrical run after all. Before it’s VOD release on August 22nd and DVD/Blu-ray release on September 30th, the film is going to get a limited theatrical bow on August 22nd. Check your local listings at that time to see if it’s playing at a theater near you.

The film concerns some couples backpacking in Ireland who quickly discover the idyllic land is not what it appears to be be when a town’s residents offer the hikers an old cabin at the edge of the woods. Soon, the friends will find that one of Ireland’s most famous legends is a terrifying reality.

Also from Lionsgate comes Eduardo Sanchez’s Bigfoot film Exists. That will hit VOD on October 3rd and select theaters October 24th. Scripted by his Lovely Molly collaborator Jamie Nash, the description for Sanchez’s new film is this: A group of friends who venture into the remote Texas woods for a party weekend find themselves stalked by Bigfoot. There’s still no trailer or release date information regarding the project, but check back here for any updates.

And, finally, IFC will release The Pact 2 on VOD September 5th and in, you guessed it, select theaters October 10th.

The film stars Camilla Luddington, Patrick Fischler, Scott Michael Foster, Haley Hudson, Mark Steger and Caity Lotz, reprising her role from the first film.

The Pact 2 is set just weeks after Annie Barlow’s deadly confrontation with the Judas Killer. In this sequel, we meet June, a woman whose carefully constructed life is beginning to unravel due to lucid nightmares so awful they disturb her waking life.
