The new experimental update which includes flashbangs and a new sub-machine gun. I’m a big fan of any ranged weapon in the zombie apocalypse and flashbangs (as well as grenades) are a nice alternative to bullets. Flashbangs come in handy as they temporarily blind targets in the area and since you have to worry about other humans in this game, I’m glad they are an option.
As for the SMG, DayZ has now added the MP5K to it’s arsenal. As someone who generally despises 9mm ammo (I don’t believe in anything smaller than a .45) this is one weapon that I wouldn’t want to do without because ammo will be a plenty and it is highly reliable.
As if those goodies weren’t enough, you need a new area to test them out, right? How about a new lakeside town? Yep, you have that too. All in all, it’s like a zombie Christmas (or at least a zombie birthday). The latest update can be accessed through DayZ’s Steam settings.
