As you know, the story takes place against the backdrop of the eponymous theme park. In the video Pratt explains “Jurassic World” – in the film – has existed for a bit now and “attendance starts to fall off so they decide to come up with a new attraction to bring even more people in and – you’re never going to believe it – but it doesn’t go well.”
Trevorrow also discusses executive producer Steven Spielberg’s involvement: “Every day he’ll send ideas, he’ll draw out ideas on pads of paper and I’ll shoot them.”
Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath and Lauren Lapkus round out the film’s cast.
