Steven Schneider, producer of Paranormal Activity and the Insidious films, has been shepherding a new faux documentary horror flick for a bit now called The Houses October Built.
The thriller is done now and ready for Cannes courtesy of sales rep The Exchange. Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe handled directorial duties.
The film uses the Halloween Haunted House phenomenon that draws over 30 million visitors every October as its backdrop. Lurking beneath the surface of spooky fun, The Houses October Built sheds light on the dark world of haunting.
