There are a few Christmas, or holiday, themed horror anthologies in the works. Kevin Smith is tinkering around with one about Krampus, as previously reported. Now, producers Steven Hoban and Mark Smith (Ginger Snaps, Haunter, Splice).
Hoban will direct a segment, as will Grant Harvey of Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning and Brett Sullivan (Orphan Black). Doug Taylor, Sarah Larsen, James Kee and Pascal Trottier are scripting four "interweaving tales." It sounds like we're going to get the Trick 'r Treat treatment applied to Christmas…
The stories include a tales about flesh-eating Elves that Santa and his wife have to contend with; something dangerous that befalls the town of Bailey Downs; the Bauer family's fight against the Krampus and a father who ventures out to get the perfect Christmas tree and returns as something no quite himself.
