Last fall, we told you Andrew Ovredal – the director of Troll Hunter – was going to helm The Autopsy of Jane Doe. We even brought you a small glimpse at some sales art being used to promote the film during the American Film Market. Well, now here we are with the European Film Market upon us and we've got an update on the film.
Martin Sheen (Apocalypse Now, The Dead Zone) is on board to star.
The film is set in a small-town, family-owned mortuary and follows father and son coroners who receive a mysterious homicide victim – a beautiful young “Jane Doe.”
Shooting is expected to begin this summer.
