Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno Int’l DVD Art is a Fake

Just to let you know – THIS IS A FAKE.  Roth confirmed as such via his Instagram account, telling his followers that the film has worldwide theatrical.

The Eli Roth-directed cannibal film will get a theatrical release here in the U.S.  Open Road is handling distro duties and, as we reported earlier, we’re hearing that the company is looking at either a February 2014 or August 2014 debut.  That may have changed since we last picked up on release new rumblings.

The film has been making the festival rounds to a divided response (of course).  

The Green Inferno follows a group of student activists who from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.
