The cast for the third season of the FX show is pretty spectacular: Jessica Lange is back and she’ll be joined by Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare, Taissa Farmiga, Jamie Brewer, Lily Rabe, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe and Kathy Bates.
We know the season will tackle witchcraft, but who are some of the characters we’ll be following?
THR was at the TCA’s and according to the outlet, Lange plays a witch named Fiona. The actress said she’s still sorting out who her character is. Paulson is Fiona’s daughter, Cordelia.
Kathy Bates is “Madame LaLurie, a Louisiana-born socialite and serial killer who kept slaves bound in her home” while Bassett plays voodoo queen Marie Laveau.
Coven is said to jump around through various time periods, so things will no doubt get pretty wacky. For more, follow this link.
