Jeez, that kid from Super 8 is growing up fast. The official Facebook page for Blumhouse Productions has posted a behind-the-scene photo from the set of Mercy, the Stephen King adaptation which began shooting yesterday.
Based on the King tale “Gramma,” the film stars Joel Courtney of Super 8 and The Walking Dead‘s Chandler Riggs. The Haunting in Connecticut‘s Peter Cornwell directs. After the jump, you’ll find the image featuring Courtney and Riggs. Francis O’Connor and Dylan McDermott co-star.
The film follows two young boys on a visit to the hospital where they learn that their dying grandmother is a witch and that her powers are fueled by a pact with the Ancient Ones.
