A bit of big news for you True Blood fans out there. TV Line reports that Rutger Hauer will have a regular role on the HBO’s series’ sixth season. According to the site, he’ll play a character named Macklyn who has “close ties” to Sookie and Jason. Hmm, after last season’s revelations, I wonder who he could be.
Hauer has had his fair share of vampire experience playing Lothos in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Barlow in ‘Salem’s Lot, Dracula in Dracula III: Legacy and Van Helsing in Dario Argento’s forthcoming Dracula 3D.
True Blood season 6 begins June 2013.
