Earlier this year, before the glut of superhero films hit over the summer, DC Comics and Warner Bros. revealed that the Lobo adaptation had found its director in Brad Peyton, director of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (Guy Ritchie was the man on board for a spell until Peyton stepped in).
Now, a logline for the script appeared over at It’s On the Grid giving a brief glimpse as to what the plot is about.
According to the site:
Lobo, a powerful alien bounty hunter, lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc.
Sounds about right. DC is keeping things intergalactic in some respects, however, they’re grounding it mostly on Earth.
That is, if this is legit. Don Payne is still listed as the writer.
