On October 20th, the premium cable channel will debut The Girl, a film starring Toby Jones (The Mist) and Sienna Miller (G.I. Joe) as Alfred Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren, respectively.
The Julian Jarrold-directed tale focuses on Hitchcock’s relationship with Hedren during their time together on The Birds and Marnie and we have two teasers to share with you. Yes, you get a taste of Jones’ “Hitchcock,” voice and all, and a little re-creation of The Birds. Not sold on this all yet, but I’m curious. (Jarrold contributed to the UK’s Red Riding trilogy a few years back.)
