A slice of True Blood casting news for you this morning. Christopher Heyerdahl is joining the show’s fifth season. The actor is going to play a vampire, familiar territory for him because he recently played a bloodsucker in the Twilight films as the Volturi named Marcus (that might mean something to some of you).
The actor also appears in Hell on Wheels, Caprica and Supernatural.
True Blood season 5 begins June 24.
