The Victoria’s Secret model
[Update] Deadline reports Glee’s Mike O’Malley has also joined the cast. He’ll be playing a ghost.
Marisa Miller – a former Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model – is going to star in R.I.P.D., the action-supernatural hybrid based on the Dark Horse comic book.
Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, Stephanie Szostak and Mary-Louise Parker round out the cast.
Set against the backdrop of the “Rest In Peace Department,” the story focuses on Reynolds’ character, a murdered cop who comes back from the dead to find his killer.
Here is where things get wonky.
According to Heat Vision, “Bridges is playing Reynolds’ ghostly partner and Miller will be his human avatar, the form humans see when Bridges’ character is in his earthly form.”
Robert Schwentke will direct the film which hits theaters June 28, 2013.
