Carey Mulligan has signed on to join the cast of Shame, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
Mulligan, who starred this year in The Greatest, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and Never Let Me Go, will join James Badge Dale and Michael Fassbender in director Steve McQueen’s follow-up to his critically acclaimed Hunger.
Said to be a sexual drama focusing on the notion of human need, Shame features Fassbender as a New Yorker dealing with his complicated sex life. Mulligan will play his siser, Sissy, and Badge Dale will play his boss with a production set to start in January.
