VFX House Gears Up for World War Z

“Epic” depiction of a zombie apocalypse



Screen Daily reports that the visual FX of World War Z are going to be provided by Cinesite.

Recently, the FX house worked on X-Men: First Class, Battle: Los Angeles and the upcoming John Carter.

Antony Hunt, managing director at Cinesite, says, “We’re very excited to have been awarded such a significant portion of visual effects for this highly anticipated movie. With our work on Battle: Los Angeles and Generation Kill, we’ve proven our ability to create scenes of epic destruction and realistic character animation. We can’t wait to do it again for World War Z.”

Ready for some world-wide zombie mayhem?

Marc Forster is directing the adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel. Brad Pitt and James Badge Dale star.
