• An ad for The Walking Dead placed next to a funeral care center. Whoops.

• A Canadian horror filmmaker, and Dexter-obsessed fan apparently, killed a guy, emulating the subject matter of his short horror film.

• The Last House on the Left font, anyone? Two sales posters for The House on the Edge of the Park: Part II hit the web. Click on the link to see the other one.

• Dahmer vs. Gacy hits DVD on May 10 from Virgil Films & Entertainment. Deep within a secret government lab, Dr. Hess is obsessively working to create the ultimate killer by combining the DNA of two of the world’s most infamous serial murderers, Jeffrey Dahmer (Ford Austin) and John Wayne Gacy (Randal Malone). All hell is unleashed when a freak accident allows their escape…and the only hope of stopping the carnage is Ringo, a holy, buckets-of-crazy soldier “trained by God” (Harland Williams) who enters battle with a shotgun in one hand and a whiskey bottle in the other.

• Rue Morgue Magazine is preparing another Hymns from the House of Horror. You’ll want to hit Rue Morgue’s site on May 1 to download the music compilation.

• Lucky McKee’s latest film, The Woman, is playing to Texas Frightmare Weekend attendees on April 28.

• Over at Reddit, a chat with Bruce Campbell revealed that the actor has read the script for the Evil Dead remake that Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are developing. Campbell says, “The scrip is awesome.” Then he made a snarky joke.
