The “Little Giant” a vampire ally
Something tells me I saw Alan Tudyk acting like Abraham Lincoln in something (jog my memory, readers), so I find this amusing.
The actor – star of Joss Whedon’s cult series Firefly and Tucker and Dale Versus Evil – has signed up for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (opening June 22, 2012), now shooting in Louisiana.
He’ll play Stephen A. Douglas, a vampire ally, for director Timur Bekmambetov. History says Douglas, a Democrat known as the “Little Giant,” lost the presidency to Lincoln in 1860. The “Little Giant” moniker came about because Douglas was short, but a big player in politics.
