Apocalyptic horror from the man behind Session 9
At one point or another, everyone has imagined what it might be like to be the only person left in a big city devoid of people, and in Brad Andersonâs apocalyptic thriller Vanishing on 7th Street, a group of survivors played by Hayden Christensen, John Leguizamo and Thandie Newton find out exactly what that would be like as millions of people mysteriously vanish into a darkness that enfolds the entire city.
Vanishing on 7th Street delves further into the world of the supernatural than Andersonâs previous movies Session 9 and The Machinist as he creates an apocalyptic scenario in which only the light can keep the survivors alive as shadowy creatures pull the living into their world leaving only their clothes.
